My Trip to Portland, Oregon! (Archived from 4/16/16/)

Hey everyone!

Since our spring break was in March, my sister and I decided to go on a short trip to Portland, OR. We spent 3 days there and had a lot of fun!

Since I had so much fun, I decided to share some pictures from the trip. If you've never been to Portland before, I highly recommend it! Especially if you like eating and nature, haha.

Photo spam is after the jump!

The Food!

Day 1:

Left to Right: My bibimbap, my sister's bulgolgi. We tried a Korean food truck for lunch! It was so good, omg. We ate so much!

My dinner! I just got spaghetti and chicken meatballs, which was also so good!

Day 2:

Top to bottom: My banana chocolate muffin for breakfast, my burger from a place called Little Big
Burger for lunch. Both were so yummy! And the burger was smaller than the typical burger size, but honestly it was perfect because we had eaten so much the day before, haha.

And of course we had to stop by Voodoo Donuts! My sister got the one called "Dirt" and I got the cream filled one. The line was pretty long to get into the shop, but it moved really fast. And the donuts tasted really fresh and really good, so I definitely feel it was worth the walk there!

For dinner, we went to a Japanese restaurant! We shared some gyoza, not knowing how massive our entrees would be, haha. These were awesome by the way!

From top to bottom: My katsudon, my sister's beef udon. These were huge!! We did our best to eat as much as possible haha. Which wasn't hard because they tasted so good!

Day 3:

For breakfast I had this pastry that the shop we went to called a "Nutella Puff," and omg, it was so good! The center was full of warm Nutella and I swear I could have eaten 4 of these in one sitting, haha.

We also tried the limited edition Sakura flavored frappachino that Starbucks had. It actually was strawberries and cream, with matcha and white chocolate, but we thought it was pretty good! They don't ever have this flavor where I live, but I guess that's because we don't have cherry trees either, haha.

Washington Park!

Washington Park was so beautiful! You could spend days walking around in here because the park is so big! My sister and I really enjoyed this park and we wanted to spend more time here during our trip, but we didn't have much time in Portland and wanted to see as much as possible, so we only went for a few hours, haha.

Portland Japanese Garden!

Japanese American Historical Plaza!

We also walked along the Japanese American Historical Plaza while we were there! With all the cherry trees blooming, it was truly a beautiful sight. And lots of other people thought so too! There were quite a lot of people so I didn't get really get a shot of the trees without them, but I feel like they are far enough in the background that it's ok, haha.

So that's it for my Portland trip! I definitely want to go back again, since we only spent a few days there.

Have you been to Portland before or have been on any trips lately? Let me know in the comments!
